Tree Star is for Dezeen x Samsung Out of the Box Competition which challenges contestants to design innovative new objects for the home that can be made by repurposing cardboard packaging.

We believe people who love Samsung’s televisions are life passionists with lives full of fun. So, unpacking the box does not only represent open colorfulness and opportunities of life but also extra playfulness for the users’ beloved cats. The combination of cat house and cat tree with unconventional looking can be unpacked with the entertaining tv coming along. Cardboards are always cats’ favorite, and now we upgrade the excitement with our TREE STAR to reward their restless curiosity towards life and cardboards. Simply use a ruler, a knife and a pencil, we can unpack the unknown, double the fun. As design students from New York, we are honored to be on behalf of our owners to present our passion to cats, design, and life to you.
